Product Review: "noise maker"

This is my second "noise maker" as my 3 year old calls it. We absolutely love this sound screen. I just had a baby and had to buy a second one for his room. I would recommend this one over others because it's small, does not require batteries, the noise is variable, the sound is clean, and it's not a recording. We have been really happy with our "noise makers" and they have helped both of my kids sleep better. The shipping took a couple days longer than expected.Product Review: 20 years and still running!

I've had one of these going on 20 years now and it still runs like the day I bought it! I have been working 2nd shift since the mid '80s and this is a must-have for sleeping while the rest of the world is up and making noise. When you 1st get one of these give yourself a week or two to adjust to it.
This is also a must-have travel item when staying in hotels or staying at someone's house to drown out the surrounding noises.

I bought one of these 7 years ago after a friend recommended it. I was a little skeptical, and it seemed expensive for what is basically a fan in a plastic case.
Well, all I can say is that this little bugger keeps humming like a champ. Not a single issue with it in seven years, and I use it every night. I live in a high rise condo so there are TVs and planes overhead all the time. No problem. If I ever move to a standalone home I will still use it. I even have it on the light switch circuit so it turns on automatically when I turn on the bedroom lights.
Since it's pretty well built, so my only complaint is that it is too heavy to put in a suitcase. If I am driving to a travel destination, however, I pack it up just like my clothes.
I think the biggest surprise was reading all the reviews from people who have the same problem with night sound that I have!

This was recommended to me because my boyfriend snores up a storm. At first I had it on my nightstand but I found it drowns out his snoring better when it is on his side of the bed. I wish it was louder, I still run a mini fan on my side in addition to this but it does help.Product Review: :(

I read lots of reviews of people complaining about Sounds Machines not being loud enough. Well... this one is SO LOUD, that it feels like you are sleeping in the middle of the highway.
Did not like this one.
