more importantly found these to be extremely comfortable. He just began wearing them so we haven't yet put them through any washing cycle but they seem well made so we're not too worried about wear and tear.
He's using the heavy pad (more for the feeling of security than anything else) so we can actually leave the house and go out for a good time with not a worry....
