Product Reviews of Dial Corporation 76Oz 20 Mule Team Borax Laundry Pretreater

Product Review: Grandma knows her stuff!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently became obsessed with knowing how to "properly" wash laundry (i.e. stain removal, making whites brighter, proper sorting, etc.)--and gone are the days of making 5 piles (black, darks, medium, whites, towels)...I wanted to really figure this science out...well, one of the products I have found that really makes a difference is BORAX! Give it a try...you will see--but follow the directions on the box...using more justs wastes it, and using less doesn't work as well.

Product Review: Great All Around Cleaner
Summary: 5 Stars

I use this in the dishwasher when I run out of my 7th Generation or Melaleuca. It's 100% safe. Contains no phosphates. I also use it to add to the water to wash my kitchen and bathroom floors. If you need your cleaner to have that "clean" smell, just add some essential oil to it. I've used lemon, tea tree oil, lavendar and eucalyptus. They all smell great and make me want to use the Borax all the time, and why wouldn't you! It's safe around kids and pets.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, it keeps the spiders, centipedes and other pests at bay too. Just sprinkle around your walls in the basement or where ever you have a problem.

Product Review: Great flea killer!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used 20 Mule Team Borax for decades to be safely rid of fleas. I sprinkle it lightly over my carpets after every vacuuming. Walking on the carpet pounds it into the carpet backing. No more costly and toxic dips or sprays since I discovered this. I always have a box handy.

Product Review: Great for Science Experiments!
Summary: 5 Stars

Make a solution of Borax and Hot Water, pour it into a Mason Jar, suspend an object in the solution using a string and a wooden stick. The crystals form on the object and the string that are in the solution very rapidly so you can "watch" it happen if you are patient. If you use a twist-tie or pipecleaners, you can shape your object into anything and have it be crystal covered. And - you can add food coloring to change the color of your crystals.
Great Activity for rainy days!

Product Review: Great for the scalp
Summary: 5 Stars

I suffer from an itchy scalp. I've tried every product under the sun to no avail. Someone mentioned adding a bit of Borax to my shampoo. To my surprise it worked! And with the amount you get in the box, it'll last forever. For the first time since I was a child I don't have to scratch my head every 10 minutes. The only puzzling thing is the price Amazon is charging. Walmart sells the same exact product for less than three dollars...
