Product Reviews of Dial Corp. 04303 Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar SoapProduct Review: old time laundry aide Summary: 4 Stars
this product has been around for years--not to be found in traverse city though. I can tell the formula for this product is different froom what it used to be because of the color. it works almost as good.
Product Review: over pricing Summary: 1 Stars
I am trying to figure out why this is $4 on amazon when you can get it for $1.25 a bar elsewhere.
Product Review: product good, took awhile to get Summary: 4 Stars

Product Review: removes Hawaii red dirt like a charm Summary: 5 Stars
Dial Corp. 04303 Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar Soap a fellow soccer mom here in hawaii recommended this to the rest of the moms to remove red dirt stains from white uniforms. i was doubtful, because my experience has proven to me that red dirt doesn't come out. i was proven wrong after using this wonderful product.
i've also successfully removed an old stain from a nylon/spandex white blouse. i'm not sure what type of stain, but nothing could get it out, including Febreze, diluted bleach, clorox 2, etc.
i was so afraid of having to abandon the blouse, but i didn't have to now that i got rid of the stain w/ this Fels Naptha bar.
Product Review: works, but isnt natural Summary: 3 Stars
i used to use fels naptha to make my laundry soap, but i am sure they changed the recipe. when i started up again 2 years ago i noticed that it smells like chemicals. the ingredients list is not very specific but doesn't look natural. it works well if you can get around the scent but whats the point of making your own soap if it is just as full of chemicals as the storebought? (well i guess there is still price.)
i switched to using castille soap, it works well enough but not as good as fels naptha. i am trying to find natural soap brands to work with.
fyi, if you make your own laundry soap, dont forget to add "bluing" to your white loads. its harder and harder to find but makes whites whiter (its why laundry detergent is blue.) oxobrite peroxide bleach also really helps if you add it to each load.
