Product Reviews of Dial Corp. 04303 Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar SoapProduct Review: Dynamite Product Summary: 5 Stars
This laundry bar soap is excellent as a pre-spotter. Nothing removes oily stains like this old standby.
Try finding it at your local grocery stores. This product usually runs MUCH less than the price quoted here. I waa shocked that this offer wasn't a 3 pack.
Product Review: Excellent for pre-treating stains Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using this product for over a year for pre-treating stains and for doing hand laundry, ever since I read a Hanna Anderson leaflet recommending this. For stains, I wash the affected area with cold water and rub in a little Fels-Naptha and then leave the garment sitting in the sink for about half an hour to an hour. After that, I either hand launder it or toss it in the washer. It has taken out all types of stains (pasta sauce, water colors, dirt, grass stains), but obviously the more set-in the stain is, the harder it will be to get it out. As a bonus, it also smells good :-)
Product Review: FELS-NAPTHA SOAP Summary: 5 Stars
I have purchased the Fels-Naptha soap to make my own laundry detergent, but I have already used it as a stain remover with excellent results. I just wanted to let everyone know that you can purchase the Fels-Naptha soap at Kroger for $1.29. It is located down the laundry detergent aisle. You can also purchase the Borax and the A&H washing soda at Kroger. Thanks for the information that you can use the soap for poison ivy(My husband is allergic to poison ivy) I will defintely be using this for poison ivy treatment.
Product Review: Fels Naptha uses animal fat Summary: 1 Stars
Fels Naptha's main ingredient is sodium tallowate or tallow which is derived from cows fat. I don't know about you but I am not really a fan of washing my clothes with animal fat. There are many soaps that can be used instead that use a non-animal fat lye. Look for a castile based soap instead.
Product Review: Fels-Naptha Summary: 5 Stars
You can buy a bar of soap at Publix for 99cents. It does work great for stains. I am going to try and grate the soap up with a little water and put in a spray bottle to treat stains. Plus you can ask any gro. store if they will start carrying this for you.
