Product Reviews of Dial Corp. 04303 Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar SoapProduct Review: Best Poison Ivy Treatment I have ever used Summary: 5 Stars
My Grandmother used to soap us up with the lather from Fels Naptha when we caught poison ivy when I was a child. As an adult I suffered through all the more modern treatments in the drug store and even Bert's Bees Poison Ivy Soap, but nothing really worked on the nasty strain I have in my area. I caught PI again this year and decided to go back to the old fashioned remedy. It was wonderful. It dried the rash up very fast and stopped the infernal itching. I just made a lather in the shower and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes 2x per day.
I also used it on the clothes that were exposed to the Poison Ivy plant. The oils from the plant will stay with the clothing unless they are washed with a strong grease cutter. This soap does the job well.
WATCH THE PRICE: I bought my soap on Amazon for $4.99 per bar, and then found it in my local hardware store (in the cleaning supply isle) for $1.29 per bar.
Product Review: Best spot remover ever Summary: 5 Stars
This is the most awesome spot remover ever. It has removed spots from items that have been washed and dried many times. A friend told me about it and I could not find it at a store so I ordered here. I cannot praise this enough-I cannot figure out why stores do not stock it-nothing beats it that I have tried and it is a much better price than those fancy store spot removers. I have used it on carpet and clothing and it works great!!
Product Review: Best stuff ever Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this stuff for as long as I could remember. It is THE BEST soap to use on whites, as well as everthing else. We seem to think that suds means its cleaning, the more the better, but not true. I keep a veggie peeler and a bar of this on the washer, and it is usually my only choice. I never had a formula stain that this stuff couldn't get out. My ex was very allergic to posion ivy, and he would spray a mix of water and this on himself before doing any yard work, or for camping trips. For you horse people out there,,,try this soap on those lovely stained leg wraps. It is cheap, safe, a great whitener! Now if I could only find LaFance Blueing powder, I would be in heaven..LOL!
Product Review: Buy at Your Grocery Store! Summary: 5 Stars
Save your money! You can get it at your local grocery store. I paid $1.50 for mine! It does work well.
Product Review: Detergent Summary: 5 Stars
I am going to make my own detergent, so this is a great way to get a hard to find item - order from Amazon.
