I've used both Merkur and Derby blades, and I've found the results to be the same. The Derby blades, however, are a much better deal. If you have your doubts and don't want to commit to the box of 100 blades just yet, go with a smaller order and try them out first. If you end up liking them order the 100 pack, it'll save you a lot of money..Product Review: Good sharp blades.

Previously I was using Merkur blades to shave with, but I wanted to try out something new. I was debating between 3 or 4 other types of razor as well as variety packs (which will seem like a great buy). After reading a bunch of reviews on the Badger and Blade website however I decided that I would make this purchase and I have not regretted it yet. I have experienced less irritation from this blade than I have from any of the previous I have used.
