Product Reviews of "Derby Extra" Stainless Steel Double Edge Razor BladesProduct Review: Excellent Summary: 5 Stars
I'm new to DE shaving, and these give me great head shave. No cuts, and I have a nice smooth skull:) I believe they're considered to be "medium" aggressive; you'll very probably like these.
Product Review: Excellent Value Summary: 4 Stars
I felt like this gives a smoother easier shave than the Merkur blades, which are the only other ones I've tried previously. I'm using the blades in my Merkur Futor razor and get an excellent shave for the value. Buy these and a decent double edge shaver and do away with the stupid marketing hype and pollution that gillette and shick have been foisting on us for years.
Product Review: Excellent blades Summary: 5 Stars
The Derby blade (made, I believe, in Turkey) is not the sharpest blade out there but, in my mind, achieves the perfect balance between sharpness and smoothness: Sharp enough not to snag on tough bristles, but not so sharp as to make cuts and soreness inevitable. 100 of these will give you over a year of shaves - I find I can get at least five shaves out of a single blade with no decline in quality.
Product Review: Excellent quality and durability Summary: 5 Stars
Derby Extra are excellent quality razor blades, sharp, smooth and durable. There is no excuse anymore for using Mach3 or Fusion.
Product Review: Excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
For the money, these are arguably the best value for razor blades. Although I find these quite sharp, each blade tends to be effective for only about 3 days. The Merkur blades last longer but are more expensive.
Regardless, I highly recommend.
