This item is ok - but just that. The larger of the two guards is extremely thick and very uncomfortable -with sharp edges just behind the front teeth - a sure tongue problem for me.
The smaller of the two is one that I've used for a couple of weeks but it is so thick in the front that my lips won't close completely and that's a problem. It's actually caused some lip chapping due to dryness.
I also got this item: Grind Guard - Relieves Symptoms Associated with Teeth Grinding and while I think it will work better I destroyed the initial one in the process of a second attempt in getting it to fit. The company told me they'd replace it but I've yet to see the replacement. It's much thinner and worked great until I decided to "refit" it.

I am about to order my 2nd one of these. Mouthguards have never lasted very long with me. Almost every style and brand has been in my mouth. This is by far the best guard for the money. While these do not compare to the professional guards, they are pretty close. It costs me $200-300 for a professional guard and well, for $20 you can have something close. I have put just about every non-pro brand in my mouth Dr's etc and none come close to this one. If you go thru guards often, give these a shot. You will likely be very happy. The clear plastic model is my preferred option.

If your teeth grinds during sleep or it clinches you should purchase this mouth guard. Ever since my sister informed me sometimes I grind my teeth during sleep I jumped on Amazon right away looked for a mouth guard and bought this one based on reviews. I hear grinding your teeth is horrible for your health so I decided to protect my teeth. It feels awkward at first sleeping with the guard in your mouth but after a couple of days I got used to the feeling and it became normal. It does the job and its inexpensive so it works for me.
