This is by far the best adhesive I have tried. Using conventional adhesive, I had to re-apply before and after each meal, and sometimes even during the meal. But I have found that Cushion Grip will hold all day, and often for a second day as well. After the second day, I sometimes have to supplement it with a little conventional adhesive, but even then I get a much better hold than with the conventional adhesive alone.
