I have the cow humidifier and just bought the frog today. These humidifiers are great!! I use them in my room (very dry) and they are so quiet and very easy to clean (no filters!!).
I had the orange and it was very cute but it did not work right. (kept turning off when it was full)
The penguin was really cute also, but it didn't work after about 2 months. (I use them a lot!!)
Overall, I love the Crane humidifiers(quiet, easy to clean and inexpensive) and hope this frog I just ordered works as well as the cow does!!

I like the style and the ease of use. AND, I love that it's so quiet! But, it doesn't seem to put out a lot of mist, even at it's highest setting. One gallon has lasted 2 or more days, when I expected it to last 12 hours or so. I've now put it in a smaller room and it is fine there but purchased a different make/model for the room I was originally hoping to use it in. We are now on our second frog - the first died because our water is appliance-killing hard and I did not take proper precautions. Frog is almost silent - there is a gentle whirring from the fan, and sometimes the trickle of condensing water can be heard, but nothing unpleasant. We also have the penguin and for some reason that one is very noisy, almost as loud as cheap drugstore brands. I'm convinced that something does not fit quite right, perhaps the filter. Penguin works just fine and the white noise of him cranking along is comforting to my 3 year old.
I have tried many humidifiers, and these cute ones are by far the best.

i have two of these crane humidifiers the cat and penguin. they are easy to clean, no filters, easy to use and cute for kids room. i just wish they would do a plain modern one for an adults room! i think the penguin directs the mist better than the cat. the penguin shoots the mist out of the beak horizontally rather then up from the ears(cat).
