So I just ordered this from Amazon - the 1.0 gallon. They sent me the 2.1 gallon. I returned it, alerted them that I had ordered the 1 gallon, and they sent me another 2.1 gallon! Then they gave me some vague response about not knowing if they could fulfill the order...so I said I'd take the frog or the cow instead, and they said "we'll give you a refund." Not sure what the deal is, but if you're going to buy one, you might want to just buy it from a store so you know you get the right one, and don't get this kind of bizarro runaround. First time I've been this disappointed by Amazon.com.Product Review: Careful!

I had many recommendations to get this humidifier because it is awesome. It seems like reviews for humidifiers are either love or hate and it was really hard to make a decision. We received it last night and filled it with water and set it on a table in the bedroom. It says not to put it on a wood table or carpet or a towel so my hubby went to get a plastic tray to put under it. When he got back he discovered it was leaking everywhere! We ran it to the bathroom and drained it. That is when we noticed a crack on the inside of it (in the base). Needless to say we are sending it back and I will never order a Crane again. A friend recommended the "Safety 1st Ultrasonic 360" sold at Target and I am going to run down there and get it. Hopefully it won't have a similar issue. I would give this item 0 stars if it was possible. I know some people have no problems with these at all and have them for years and years, but after this experience (and I really needed this humidifier because my daughter has a cold) I will never trust this brand.Product Review: Completely satisfied with my purchase
