This is one of the best humidifier available at this price. My earlier humidifier experience was bad. It made lot of noise so I had to return it. This humidifier is quite and gives cool mist for longer period of time.Product Review: Best humidifier ever!

I got this penguin humidifier after reading all the good reviews. It really is great! On a full tank he lasts longer than expected (at least a full night (10 hours) on the highest setting) and puts out a lot of mist instantly. My boyfriend and I can definitely tell a difference between the nights that he is on and the nights he isn't. My silly boyfriend even flooded him by pouring water in the top (where it's not supposed to be filled), where the mist comes out and got all the components inside wet. But surprisingly the penguin still works perfectly! He is very quiet and just super adorable but not too "little-kiddish" so it kinda matches the coloring of my bedroom. Great buy and great price. I've been through several humidifiers in the past couple of years--vicks, medisana, etc. None have been able to fit the bill for minimal cleaning, good vapor and minimal noise. The penguin does. I've owned it for 6 weeks and used it every night with no issue. I just bought one for my sons room to replace the vicks one in there once we run out of filters. There is some white dust, which is to be expected, and if it's really bothersome invest in the cartridge that reduces it. I just wipe it away. This is definitely worth the $30!
