Product Review: Good, for about a year.

Didn't use this product too often. Maybe a few weeks out of the year. We stored and cleaned it properly in between uses. A little more than a year after purchase, the internal fan became unbalanced and the unit developed a loud noise as a result. The noise was too loud to run the unit for our sleeping baby. So, in the trash. Hope you have better luck than we did if you end up buying this unit. We will be buying something else next time around.Product Review: Great Customer Service

The humidifier broke after 4 months, so I called their customer service and they told me to just cut the electrical cord and mail that in. They sent me a new humidifier after 2 weeks. It was so easy! Now, truth be told, I'm not sure how well the humidifier mists the room. I haven't tested the room's humidity. However the Vicks versions are way too noisy, and this one is silent. And I do notice my son feels better when I use it AND I see his nose drain when I use it. So it must work. Overall, it;s a good product and the Customer Service makes it an outstanding one.Product Review: Great design

I reviewed cool mist humidifiers for weeks and read all the reviews and this one stood out. We've had it for 6 months now and I can't say enough good things. The automatic off when it runs out of waters is great so it doesn't wake up the babies. IT is whisper quiet which I love and I love the ability to turn the penguin's head around so that I can hide the green light on the machine (for kids room at night... they focus on it) and be able to adjust the direction of the mist. Being able to control the power of the mist is also huge. And I originally read some people were unhappy with the the fact that the water sloshes around and it doesn't have to if you are careful. I mean all humidifiers slosh. This one (I've had a few) only has a small amount of water left in the base and as long as you always bring a small towel when changing/adding the water then you never get water anywhere. The Crane Adorable 1 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier is just that, adorable. The product was very simple to set up and very easy to use. The mist it produces has helped in the drier times of year. I must admit that it is cute to see the cool mist waft out from the penguin's mouth. It isn't perfect. I would have liked some indicator on the dial to show how strong the fan was set. The unit "gurgles" a bit as water from the basin drips into the humidifier. My girlfriend doesn't mind it, but it bothers me a bit, so your mileage may vary. For the price, I would highly recommend it. Besides, it is a penguin!
