Product Review: Didn't work... UPDATE: It now works

UPDATE: I tried three other humidifiers including Vicks and ReliOn and I really started to hate all humidifiers... Good thing I remembered reading somewhere that if you turned this one on just as you flip the frog's head over it will work. I didn't want to deal with that but I finally tried it yesterday and now it works. Thank God.
I've had a lot of trouble finding a good humidifier for my son who seems to come down with some sort of respiratory infection every month. I've found many that have leakage problems and I was hoping this one would be different. Not only did it leak but, like it did for others who have reviewed this product, the mist wouldn't come out. It stayed inside the frog's head. I'm very disappointed since it reportedly works perfectly for most people. Those that get the broken Crane humidifiers seem to be out of luck what with customer service being of no help.

My husband and I purchased the penguin humidifier several months ago after moving to Scottsdale. We initially used the humidifier without any problems. Then, we put the penguin away for the summer. When we took it out again last night, it wouldn't work at all. We checked the user's manual, and it appears that we are doing everything correctly. I guess we're out of luck! I should have trusted the large number of negative reviews and chosen a more reliable product. While the humidifier is really cute, I wouldn't recommend it based on its sketchy reliability. I cannot believe the unhelfulness and unprofessionalism of this Crane company.
I received the Penguin humidifier and it won't turn on. I returned it, and received another one. The new one does not work. I've tried calling for customer support and tech support repeatedly, and it goes straight to voicemail. No one has returned any of my calls.
If you are interested in buying a product with the backing of a reliable company, definitely stay away from this product.
Product Review: Dragon Model

Tons of reviews here, so I'll keep this short. If you're wondering, the steam from Dragon shoots from the tops of its two eyebrows. Benefit: comes out almost straight up for great dispersal. Downside (as noted by my 5 year old): it'd be cooler to come out of his snout like the smoke from a real dragon before it shoots fire out of its mouth. Other: Dragon has wide range of mist output, from very little at lowest setting to fog machine at max. On/off switch is in back of unit, trading off less than 100% convenience for the sake of clean lines; I approve, others might not. Hope that Crane lines up other licensing deals. If I could get a Yoda model my son would go bonkers. The possibilities are endless.
