My 20 month old daughter caught a cold, and to help her breathe while she's sleeping, I bought this cool mist humidifier. I can honestly say it REALLY works. I had noticed she could breathe from her nose very well while this was running at night. I caught her cold a couple of days later, and can now say from experience that it definitely works. I have no trouble breathing when I sleep next to this thing, no matter how stopped up I've been all day. Love this thing, it is a life-saver during cold season.
