Great humidifier for the Thomas-obsessed! It also happens to work really well in putting out a fine mist. You can control everything except the "buffer" headlights which stay on as long as the machine is on--I just cover them up for bedtime. I will warn you that if left on in the highest misting position all night, your floor will be damp in the AM.Product Review: Dragon Model

Tons of reviews here, so I'll keep this short. If you're wondering, the steam from Dragon shoots from the tops of its two eyebrows. Benefit: comes out almost straight up for great dispersal. Downside (as noted by my 5 year old): it'd be cooler to come out of his snout like the smoke from a real dragon before it shoots fire out of its mouth. Other: Dragon has wide range of mist output, from very little at lowest setting to fog machine at max. On/off switch is in back of unit, trading off less than 100% convenience for the sake of clean lines; I approve, others might not. Hope that Crane lines up other licensing deals. If I could get a Yoda model my son would go bonkers. The possibilities are endless.Product Review: Very cute and works well!

(Hello Kitty) The first humidifier I ordered didn't work right. It wouldn't create mist. I had a no-hassle return and replacement from Amazon. The 2nd one works like a charm.
I love this humidifier and so does my daughter. It is very cute and stylish for a girl's room. The nightlight is a nice blue that illuminates through the water tank. The nightlight turns on and off with it's own button. The green "on" light is very bright, so I turn the front of the humidifier away from the head of the bed. I like the auto shutoff feature if the water is too low and the wide adjustment for volume of steam production. Although it is 1 gallon, I find that using it for consecutive nights on the 1/4 around setting, I don't have to refill it for about 4 days or so.
So, yes I experienced a quality problem with the first one, but I've had that happen with other appliances. I'm glad that it was a no-hassle return and replacement and I am totally satisfied with the new one.
PS - It is super quiet - a definite plus in my book!!!

It can easily humidify a big room.

First of all, it was creative of the manufacturer to create animal shaped humidifiers. My daughter chose an elephant to match the jungle theme of her room. We needed to replace our older model that had such a large footprint that it was not stylish nor practical. This humidifier has both: simplicity of design and tasteful style for a child's room.

SET UP:
Set up was simple. Take the nozzle off of the assembly, remove the tank, unscrew the cap and fill with cold water. Replace the cap, and then place the tank into the reservoir. Plug the item in, push the power button on and set the level of humidity. I favor this model over others, since many other brands require a filter that quickly gets dirty.
There is an indicator light that turns red when the water runs out, and turns green when there is adequate water in the tank.
The item runs quietly with the occasional 'dripping' noise that is relatively innocuous. My daughter loves the look, and I love the simplicity of design.
VERDICT:
My daughter and I love this new addition to her room.
I highly recommend this unit.
