Product Review: Mixed feelings

The design looks excellent and it is always welcome for my kid to have this humidifier next to him whenever needed. I find it difficult to understand why these things are designed such a way that you always have water leak when the surface is not even (absolute flatness I mean!) or when you try to change its location even a little bit. It is always messy (with water) and I think it is not specific to this particular model or brand. I always had similar problems and returned one recently. This one we like the appearance and once it finds itself a smooth surface it works great. I even arranged a tray underneath to avoid frequent leakages (I think the tray should come with the humidifier!). Adding water is easy as you don't have to remove the tank and just pour a big glass of water after removing the upper lid. We have another humidifier (Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier with Auto Shut-Off) and the water tank rests safely without any water leaking. I would give five-star if this model had the same.
