My husband and I have been using this product for over a year. The taste is great (you don't even taste any hint of fish oil). But here is the proof that it works. Recently, my husband had a total physical required in his line of work. After the lab tests came back, the doctor remarked that she didn't understand how his cholesterol had come down, yet he had gained a few pounds. The weight gain is thanks to all the holiday goodies, but the lowered cholesterol is thanks to the Coromega.Product Review: Preservative used is potential cause of ADHD in kids

I don't want to sound like an alarmist but I have been feeding my two kids with this product for the last 6 months. Then one day, I read the label on the box. Two preservatives in the ingredients stand out. The first is Potassium Sorbate, and the other Sodium Benzoate.
I searched the web and found in [...] on both of these preservatives. Potassium Sorbate is a safe preservative against molds and yeasts. But in 2007 a UK's Food Standards Agency published a research suggests that Sodium Benzoate is linked to "hyperactive behaviour and decreased intelligence in children."
In addition, Professor Peter Piper of the University of Sheffield claims that sodium benzoate by itself can damage and inactivate vital parts of DNA in a cell's mitochondria. ""The mitochondria consumes the oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it - as happens in a number of diseased states - then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously. And there is a whole array of diseases that are now being tied to damage to this DNA - Parkinson's and quite a lot of neuro-degenerative diseases, but above all the whole process of aging"
Based on these studies and warnings, I decided to stop giving this product to my kids. These studies may turn out to be untrue in years to come. But I do not want to give it the benefit of doubt.

I have been using Coromega Omega-3 supplement for several months with good results. But, I recently ordered the supplement with a "hint" of chocolate since I am a die-hard chocolate lover. What a mistake! The hint of chocolate is the worse combination with the orange flavor and I almost gag with each dose. I am trying to decide if I should throw out the box or just suffer through the next 80 packets.Product Review: quality product and great value

I'm on my fifth 90-day box. Each serving is said to contain the effective daily dose, but I enjoy the taste and effect so much, I take more. Honestly, the taste is strange, but not bad. Apparently there's menthol in the product, which produces a slight sensation when swallowed. I do find the orange and lime flavors more enjoyable. I'm an athlete, and using this decreases my stiffness and soreness. VERY noticeable. Can't personally make any claims to cognitive improvements, though I gave a box to my cousin, who swears there are some. Each packet contains a little less than a packet of ketchup, which sure beats taking MASSIVE pills that don't have half of the DHA/EPA contained in this. Best part is the price, and if you save your proof of purchase, send them in and get one free.Product Review: yummy yummy yummy

By far my favorite flavor! I liked it so much, I actually ate three the day I got them. If you like orange flavored chocolate, you'll like this.
