This product is more expensive than the fish oil capsules but taste better. I have had no after taste so far. You only have to take one packet a day rather than two fish oil capsules to get the 2,000 mg you need. Costco sold this product a few years ago and then discontinued - they're mistake. My husband and I take one dosage (packet) every morning and we're trusting that the manufacturer's claims are true. My son suffers from itchy skin and bumps on the backs of his arms. These are the only fish oil product he's been willing to take, because they don't taste fishy at all. While I don't care for the stevia-sweetened taste myself, my two kids love them and ask for them daily, and my husband (a self-professed non-supplement-taker) will even eat them and likes the taste. I've seen a dramatic difference in my son's level of itchiness and the bumps on the backs of his arms disappear when he's taking this. When I slacked off and stopped giving them to him for a few weeks, the bumps came back and he was more itchy. With all the benefits to brain, vascular system, and skin, you can't go wrong with these! (And if you, like me, don't like the taste, you can always mix them into something else.)
