This is a patent remedy based on the ancient recipe "Huang Lian Shang Qing Pian" (Copitdis Tablet for Clearing away Heat in Upper Energizer) in TCM, which is primarily used to clear away heat and purge fire in cases of serious exogenous invasion to upper burner causing high fever, headache, sore throat, and ear infection. Beneficial for wind-heat in the skin causing redness and itching, including hives.
