I do have a serious issue with it, however. The 1 wide wax cartridge was not even enough to do both my lower legs. Its was running low and very difficult to get anything out of it when I still had about 3 more strips of area on my second leg. So I'm out of luck until I order more wax catridges at $9 a pop. I don't even need more strips or oil and I'm not sure I can get just the cartridges. Also, the wax didn't really come out evenly or easily. It still worked but I wasn't that impressed with how the wax came out. I'll order the replacements and see if I can streamline this better before visiting my waxer girl again. ;)

Description of Conair WD1 Deluxe Wax Hair Remover

To use the kit, plug in the heating unit then snap a wax cartridge into it. There's a built-in foot stand for convenience and safety. A red indicator light will flash while the wax is heating, and remain lit when the wax is ready. The waxing procedure is the same as that of most other such units: apply wax, smooth the removal strip over the waxed area, take a deep breath, and let 'er rip! What's different is that you don't have a messy tub of wax, a messy applicator stick, or a lot of rigmarole. With the roll-on applicator, it's quick, clean, and easy. The wax itself is European professional quality, blended from beeswax and pine resins; it contains no chemicals or perfumes.

Conair suggests that you can unplug the heating unit when you're ready to apply the wax, but we found that the wax cools down in about five minutes. To maintain optimal wax temperature, it's best to keep the unit plugged in while using. Once you get your system down, the results are smooth.
