Product Review: Amazon Customer Service is AWESOME!!
Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this product and the conair ones with the clocks. My kids, my dog and myself slept very well for the first time in a long while. Amazon Customer service is awesome! I called because the first package was taken from my house by some 5 finger discount neighbor and the post office wouldn't help, but Amazon was FANTASTIC!! They got a new package to me so I could give it to one of my kid's for their birthday without delay. My advice is--if you want to be able to receive your packages without worrying about sticky finger neighbors' then send it ups/fedex. Thank you Amazon for giving my family a great night sleep!!
PROS: I would say that the pros of this product was that it helped my 2 yr old, 9 yr old and dog relax and fall asleep faster. Also, easy set up and my 2 yr old quickly figured out how to turn it on by herself. Although maybe it could have been a con because my 2 yr old then proceeded to play with the unit for 20 minutes!!
CONS: Really none, except the heart beat one is kind of creepy and the running water sounds makes you want to go to the bathroom. Maybe that's just me!!
Product Review: An Effective and Inexpensive Product

This is an excellent product. Those looking for high-end sound machines with lots of bells and whistles need to look elsewhere. This is a cost-effective way to calm down before sleep, have background sound for resting/relaxing, and our favorite use, to help a fussy infant fall asleep. It is preferable to the static on our TV set or radio.
We had purchased another sound machine for the purpose of soothing our son, but babbling brooks and wind just didn't work. White noise was the best. I researched several other products and found this one to be within my budget. We have had it for several weeks and it has worked wonderfully. We have even gotten accustomed to the sound and prefer it when we sleep as well.
The other sounds sound fine. I may not be quite the nitpicker as others, but they sound perfectly fine considering the cost and purpose of a machine such as this.
As for the craftsmanship of the product--it reminds me of a typical alarm clock or other minor home electronic. I don't expect stainless steel. You do get what you pay for and personally, I believe this is an excellent value for the price.
Product Review: Annoyance followed by breakdown

At first I heard underlying most of the "soothing" sound options a faint repetitive thumping where the sound loop apparently begins and ends. So, the machine had the opposite effect, since I kept using it based on the thought that maybe it was just my creative mind finding patterns in white noise. Once I asked someone else to listen I learned it was not my imagination. Then, after two weeks, the machine stopped working altogether. Fortunately, I purchased it at a clearance price of about $20. Unfortunately, that price has made its return for a refund a low
priority on my to do list during the holidays and a busy academic work schedule. I understand now perhaps why Conair was unloading these at clearance. And, I have already invested about seven bucks in shipping and would have to pay more to return it. Is the eight to ten dollars back worth an hour of my time? So it will sit in a closet until one day in the distant future I decide it is time to throw it away. Yet, it does not leave a good taste in my mouth about the Conair trademark.
Product Review: As comforting as a screaming baby

I was really looking forward to this machine and have used other products like it before but when I put it on it made the worst sound. The sounds are not natural but more like a computer trying to reproduce the sounds and they all are at a pitch that is unpleasant. Even if you do use this product I can't imagine that you wouldn't be grumpy the next day.Product Review: Awesome !!!!

I purchased these machines for my two girls, 2 1/2 yrs and 1 1/2 yrs old after using a humidifier as the backround sound for almost a year. I love them. the sound is great. There are 10 settings.... Rainfall, running stream, waterfall, songbirds, heartbeat, white noise, ocean waves, summer night, thurnderstorm and tropical forest. I would highly recommend
