Product Reviews of Conair MBTS9 Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat with Remote and Massage, ChromeProduct Review: Conair Thermal Spa Bath is GREAT Summary: 5 Stars
This bath spa is great! I had an older model and this has quite a bit more power in the bubbles and has additional speeds and features. I would recommend it!
Product Review: Gift for wife Summary: 4 Stars
The thermal qualities seem to be however hot your water is and the "air jets" just make bubbles. It is loud but the distance you can move it from the tub helps and the noise does kind of make other background noise disappear. My wife likes it but the mat is hard so some movement and strategic placement of a wash cloth was necessary. Over all though it is relaxing and worth the price.
Product Review: I love this item! Summary: 5 Stars
For the price you can not beat this item. I read some of the bad reviews, I have to disagree. I am 5'10" and yes it would be nice if it had a few more inches, but the size of the mat doesn't take away from my enjoyment. I also can't expect a company to cater to my size. At this price they have to make a 'standard' size. This thing is awesome. Even on the low setting it is amazing. The back/neck massage part is a nice perk. The only thing I would say about that is you have to be pressed firmly against the back for the massage action to work, it automatically turns off if you aren't pressed against it. but the spa is wonderful even without the massage. My water stays very hot, but I run it blazing hot to begin with, always have. It truely is just like a small jaccuzi. I used to use a size of the tub spa and this is miles better. You get so much more than you pay for with this machine I feel. I think the noise of the machine is a perk, it tunes out all outside noise and lets you just relax. The foot rollers and nice too. I love it I love it I love it!
Product Review: Its great Summary: 4 Stars
For its price, you easliy get your moneys worth. It does give you the spa experience. The motor is great and not too noisy. However you cant use the headrest and foot part at the same time
Product Review: Loud and tiny, but... Summary: 4 Stars
Having read the reviews on Amazon, I was all psyched to get this and have a crazy-great spa experience in my very own bathtub.
Well, as it turns out, not so much.
First, as others have mentioned, this bath mat is pretty doggone loud - it sounds like a freight train barreling through your bathroom.
It's almost comically small, too - it looks and feels like it was made for someone around 4' tall and 85#.
Still, it's relaxing, it's pleasant, and in my mind, though I certainly would have liked to have paid less for it, it's worth the money.
I can't speak to the ease of getting it in and out of the bathtub as I have sort of permanently installed it in the spare bathroom, and I just leave it there, cleaning it and under it as I clean the tub, but I think that's in part because it doesn't strike me as being terribly easy to remove and store.
This mat is nothing fancy and basically just makes lots of roiling bubbles in your bathtub. I haven't noticed it cooling or otherwise affecting the temperature of the water, but it sure helps distribute the water when you add bath products or when you run additional hot or cold water to the tub in an effort to adjust the temperature.
It seemed anticlimactic to me at first, but experience has taught me that it really does make the bath feel much more therapeutic and relaxing.
When my back is killing me, sometimes a hot bath is the only thing that helps, and this mat has made that even more true.
So, I like it. I think it would be more appropriately priced at half of what they're asking for it, but I'm OK with what I paid for it. It helps me. I use it every day, and I'm better off with it than I was without it.
All in all, it's a cool little gadget to have.
