We bought the original spa-n-a-box in 2001.
Had it indoors for about 5 years with no problems.
There was a recall on the first generation power plug that comfort line sent to us along with instructions. I was able to replace everything with simple hand tools.
We stored the tub for a few years when we moved.
I built a large deck last year and we have had the hot tub outdoors ever since.
The cover is wearing worse being outdoors, but still is in good shape. It being a soft cover it tends to pool water up on top when it rains which is stretching it out. We are buying the inflatable cover ($70) to remedy that.
I had to replace the pressure switch ($30) 6 months ago when the tub stopped heating. Diagnosed the problem just by searching the internet. Simple to replace and I found the part easily online.
The liner developed a hole where I had creased it during storage. Patched it with some gunk I found on the internet and so far it no longer leaks. New liners are just under $300.
Overall I'm very happy with it.
