Product Review: Only for micro-brushes and razors: terrible design

I have four badger brushes (an A of E large, an A of E travel, a Parker chrome and a Rooney Emillion 2) and this holder fits NONE of them. The slot is way too narrow. Further, the opening for the razor will fit only the slenderest of handles...forget a Merkur HD, etc. A Futur? fuggadaboutit!
Plus, the foam pad that is glued to the underside is not flush with the chrome base. The metal that is formed to the curvature of the base ends in a fairly sharp edge that could gouge or scratch surfaces quite easily.
Sending back to Amazon for a refund. This is a defective, poorly designed product. Save your money.

This is my first razor stand. Judging by the quality of it, it will be very long time until I need another one, if ever.
The silver metallic look to it is very classy.
The stand has a very good weight to it; in order for it to be knocked over, something would have to hit it fairly hard. I haven't had any issues of it just falling over on its own.
The bottom doesn't scratch the counter-top either.
My razor is a long-hand double-edge Merkur razor and the razor fits just fine in it. My shaving brush fits just fine as well.
All in all, no complaints.

This chromed razor stand is a nice one for the money. As I am a new returnee to DE shaving this stand is nicely affordable. It's heavy enough to be stable on the corner of my sink.
It fits a Gillette Black Beauty DE razor well but I think the brush holder side could be larger to accommodate the brush handle. My brush fits well in it at the junction of its bristles & handle, however.
Want good function with a nice look? Buy this one. Want upscale & "gourmet" shaving accoutrements? Buy a fancier, different one.

I love this stand. It is simple and not flamboyant and performs its purpose perfectly. It doesn't take up a bunch of space and provides adequate space beneath the brush for air flow.
