Product Reviews of Clorox Mopping System 1 systemProduct Review: Eh Summary: 3 Stars
Things I like about this product:
It doesn't use batteries like the Swiffer mop.
The ability to tuck in pads means I can use reusable microfiber cloths.
I can refill this bottle with a safe cleaning solution.
Things I don't like about this product:
The pads that come with the system are so thin, hence my want to use a microfiber cloth.
The solution squirter system is a bit unpowerful. Its like the fluid drips out instead of squirting out.
The pole seems a bit flimsy. I know this isn't supposed to be used for heavy duty scrubbing and cleaning but the pole cold be a bit stronger.
Decent buy.
Product Review: GET IT AT WALMART Summary: 4 Stars
I haven't used a mop and bucket in 8 or 9 years. I have a lot of tiled areas in my house, so I bought a Hoover Floormate for the larger areas like the kitchen and master bathroom. The Clorox Ready Mop is great for smaller areas where it's hard to maneuver the Floormate. It won't remove anything that is stuck to the floor, but it works fine for just plain old dirt or spilled liquids. I just bought my second one at Walmart sometime last year, and I think it was less than $20. The price listed here of $30.86 is outrageous. Go to Walmart if you want one. Also, the bottle of cleaning solution that comes with it is refillable, so you can fill it with whatever you want, and there is no need to buy the Clorox refills. I just use vinegar and water.
Product Review: Worst Mop Ever Summary: 1 Stars
In sum the product is not good at all. I feel like you really have to scrub twice as much as you do with a regular mop. I clean my floors everyday so it is not like my floors are super filthy. And the streaks that it leaves make it even worse. I am not impressed and I am actually adding it to my yard sale this weekend.
Product Review: Worst floor cleaner I've ever used Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased the starter kit, and before I could finish the 4 pads that came with it the handle broke. I didn't abuse it either. It seems like not all parts of the pad touch the floor. I squirt the solution, mop and I can see that parts of the floor had solution smeared on it, and other parts where still dry. Then, when I'm done mopping the floor, I can do it all over again. This is the worst floor cleaner I have ever used. I miss my Swiffer!
