Of course, taste is subjective but I swear by Clif Bar Chocolate Brownie. I usually take one about 25 minutes prior to a workout (and my workouts are intense) and it powers me for at least an hour. I eat a second one to get me through the 2nd hour of training.Product Review: My favorite!

I love these bars. I like to have chocolate flavor, but Power Bars melt into a gooey mess in the heat. I cycle and when I have a power bar in my belt bag, it doesn't melt. I can eat half of it and wrap it back up and come back to it after the ride without it creating a gross mess in my bag.
I can easily burn 1,200+ calories in a long ride, so it's really nice to be able to have something tasty to replace my lost carbs and sugar.
Some people don't like the taste of this bar, but they're my favorite.

I do like Clif Bars. Their texture and content are excellent. I generally like the taste and I think the results are on par with the best bars out there. The Chocolate Brownie flavor, however, tended towards chalkiness and I kept avoiding them until they were the only ones left in my cupboard. I'm excited to try some of the new flavors though.Product Review: Not the best

When I first discovered clif I went to their site, read the wonderful ingredients, and I really do love the company. I bought and have tried now about 9 different flavors and this one was my least favorite. The chocolate flavor was very weak, and the bar itself was a bit dry. I had bought the 24 of these thinking how could I go wrong with brownie. I have 4 kids and I live with other relatives so it seemed like a safe bet. Eventually after about 3 months they were gone where these others flew outta here. It was the general consensus of 9 of us, not to get this one again. Perhaps the combo of chocolate and oats? but really the chocolate chip bar was better. The ones we like the best seemed to be the Blueberry Crisp, and the White Chocolate Macadamia. One of my sons like the peanut butter crunch out of all the ones containing peanuts the best. I can not try them(peanut allergy). He is such a picky eater and I was delighted he enjoyed these. My other son....he likes the carrot cake, even though he really does not like actual carrot cake, I think he likes the spice taste. He is 18 and going through fireman training. He loves that they keep him full, the protein content, and that he can replace a meal with one. Really all the flavors I have tried have been good..this one is kinda blah though.Product Review: Ok but not as good as most Energy Bars

I am a big fan of energy bars and I am always looking for a new one to try. I have heard great things about clif bars and was very excited to try them. This was the first one that I tried and I was not pleased with this one. It is very dense and not much flavor to it. I felt as though I was eating an under cooked brownie, and some may like that, but I do not. I am not going to give up on clif bars, I will try their other flavors but this one I will not purchase again.
