I first tried the CLIF Builder's bar about two months ago. I am a line cook at a busy restaurant and I was needing something to tide me over on the days I work. I never have time to eat a balanced meal while at work so I tried the Chocolate variety and immediately loved it! It gave me a surprisingly intense boost and kept me full for quite a few hours. I bought two cases of them recently and now I have one in the a.m. before my run. These bars rock and by far surpass other brands. Chocolate mint, peanut butter, and chocolate flavors are all equally yummy.Product Review: Worth the money - great for after workouts

This bar is OK. Other flavors, such as chocolate mint or lemon have a far superior taste. Clif Builder Bars in general are awesome as a meal replacement with the 20 grams of protein.Product Review: product good, shipping not so much

The product is great, but the summer shipping is an issue, as these must have sat in a hot truck or warehouse, as they were melted and solidified again, so they kind of fell apart and make quite a mess when opened. Amazon, you need to work on summer fulfillment of perishables.Product Review: very good for a protein bar.

I haven't had many protein bars in my life but I have had a few. For a while it seemed like making a protein bar good was impossible. Cliffs bars prove this somewhat wrong.
Lots of protein bars taste nothing like the flavor they are supposed to. I really need protein in my diet so i took a look on here for protein and Im just afraid to try a protein shake I always think it'll taste terrible so I looked at the bars. Cookies and cream sounded the best to me so I took a shot and got it. When I got it I wasn't dissapointed. For one the price is good for 12 of these which just one in a store I think costs 2 dollars.
The problem with the bars though is that they don't taste bad at first but the bars are pretty big. I took a few bites off one bar and thought wow this is good but half way through the bar and im wishing the bar was smaller. If the bars were smaller theyd be easier to eat and enjoy but with the size of them half way through each chew becomes longer and longer.
Overall they are great might try a different flavor next time though.
