I've tried a number of protein bars; most suck. Some are okay. Very few are good. The Builder's Bars are flat out the best I've tried. I've had chocolate and chocolate mint, both are very tastey. I've been eating these for years, and finally decided to review them. They are by far the most delicious, best tasting, great way to get protein I have come across. I look forward to eating one every day - it's my mid afternoon snack. It's like eating a candy bar, except it's nutritious and you don't get a crazy sugar buzz from it. Plus the 20g of protein - great for those that are trying to build muscle!
A couple of times the boxes that have been shipped from Amazon have come with melted bars (usually in summer), but 95% of the time, they're perfect. Love them!

Of all the protein bars I have tried & I've tried most out there, this is by far the best. I actually crave this mint bar & try to eat it slowly so the delicious flavor lasts. If you are in a hurry, or not, and you like/love chocolate, eat a heathy meal replacement bar. This mint flavor is like enjoying a candy bar, but it is good for you ;-)Product Review: be careful about hard stuff in the bar

I have been eating these for years, I guess time caught up with me.
Sitting at work having a snack, I bit into one of these bars and it must have had a walnut shell or something really hard.
Cracked a tooth in half, thank you cliff bar for my first $1,200 dollar crown. Other than that, they taste great. I will be eating them much more mindfully from here on out.

i have it 4/5 stars due to the moderate loud gas from after eating the tasty mint choc bar. when i got it in the mail, i thought and was expecting the regular cliff's bar (not the builder one) in the package, but was i surprised to receive the builder's bar in the same flavor.
i'm a huge fan of the rice crispy crunch center and the mint flavor of this chocolate bar. it is definately satisfying that i did not crave a 2nd bar right away after finishing the first one. it's a treat to hold in my hand like a chocolate bar and it's handsome in the design. this is NOT a low calorie bar so for those watching fats/cholesterol/high blood pressure, you might want to try another bar.
the other bar i tried was the white chocolate and macadamia nut cliff's energy bar. this one is not as high quality in terms of taste and texture as the mint chocolate one. i do like the lower calorie, no crash feature of this bar. it's sweeter than the mint choc bar and smaller, but provides me enough energy for my cardio workout. it takes me longer to finish this bar because like i said, the taste was not all that. will i buy this white choc macadamia nut bar again after i finish my 12 pack? answer is no. i will try another flavor. that's because the mint chocolate taste ruined the white choc macadamia nut bar for me.
bottom line is even though it produce moderate, loud, somewhat smelly gas, i love the taste so much that i will definately buy this flavor again. beware that the calorie is high, so i'd recommend u eat half for breakfast to reduce the amt of gas that you will produce before u get to your destination.
