Product Review: Adjustable and convenient

I bought a pair for my father last year and he has used these so much that he asked for two more. Once he figured out how to adjust the length (pull the frames out to make them longer) he's had no complaints. They're convenient as he works his hands. The other pairs that hang on strings around the neck dangled in front of his work and got in the way, but these just slide around the neck when not in use, out of the way. I just love the concept of these glasses. As a pastor, I am always putting my reading glasses down (I move around a lot!) and then find myself looking for them in the middle of the service. No More! I just unhook them, they stay with me and are there when I need them. Any new people in church think my glasses are broken and are amazed when I "hook" them together! The only way to improve these glasses for the far-sighted would have been to use glass rather than plastic lenses BUT: they are light, length is adjustible but the marvelous thing about them is
the magnets in the nose-bridge which permit them to be mounted and dismounted with the greatest of ease. I bought my wife two of
them; one for reading and one for middle distance and she is estatic about them and wears them both about her neck contantly.

This is a terrific idea, but not for everyone. If you wear a hat size that is L or XL, when you don your new Clic Readers the magnets will be 1/2 inch to 1 inch apart. The adjustability is in the length, not the width, so the notion that one size can fit everyone depends on how comfortable you want the fit to be, and how ridiculous you want to look in your readers. Why wouldn't the manufacturer offer these in S, M, L, and XL?
