Product Review: OKAY - Do not fit everyone. Need to return.

I ordered these for my dad because my boss had a pair and I thought them very neat and a cool idea. My dad constantly buys the packages of 5 or 6 reading glasses because he breaks or looses them all the time. What I did not factor in or realize after purchasing them, wrapping them for Christmas and once given to my dad they didn't fit because his head is too big. Even on the loosest setting. What do you do!?

Product Review: SIMPLE 'round the neck Glasses

The only way to improve these glasses for the far-sighted would have been to use glass rather than plastic lenses BUT: they are light, length is adjustible but the marvelous thing about them is
the magnets in the nose-bridge which permit them to be mounted and dismounted with the greatest of ease. I bought my wife two of
them; one for reading and one for middle distance and she is estatic about them and wears them both about her neck contantly.

I never thought I had a big head, but maybe it is (in more than one way?). My hair is pretty short, too.
When the frames clicked together, they were right up against my eyeballs. My eyelashes were plastered against the glass. That was after I pulled them out so they were at the maximum size (there's a very small amount of adjustment).
There's no give in the solid plastic strap that goes around the back of the head. Interesting idea, but not something that works for me.
I called the manufacturer, who simply said "You can send them back to Amazon." Thanks.

I am a dental assistant. I saw a patient wearing these glasses around his neck and watched as he lifted and just put them on and grabbed his paper while he was waiting for the doctor. I just had to ask and I came to Amazon to find a pair for myself. This product is amazing! I have been using these glasses all the time. I never have to worry about where they are because they are right there around my neck. You don't even notice them there...they are nice and light. I highly recommend these glasses! Very convenient and easy to use,but somewhat fragile at the slide adjustment. I order 2 pair every time.
I get 8 to 12 months before failure at slide joint (too loose, broken).
That aside I will order them again.
