Product Reviews of CliC Adjustable Front Connect Reader, 2.50 Strength, Tortoise FrameProduct Review: So practical....... and fun, too! Summary: 5 Stars
My glasses are on and off so many times during the day that I've needed to put them on a cord. Now, that's a lot of flopping around but I got used to it.
My new CliC glasses hang around my neck, too, but they stay put because there's no cord. When I'm not using them I just pull the glasses apart at my nose, drop them to my shoulder, and then the powerful magnets click to join the lenses again somewhere beneath my chin. I follow the same procedure when I need to wear them again. I'm no magician but I've seen onlookers gaze in disbelief as I appear to break and then mend them perfectly in a second or two. Nothing flimsy or floppy about these glasses!
Product Review: Thanks for inventing these! Summary: 5 Stars
I now have THREE pairs of these reading glasses and wear them like an accessory! Whenever I leave the house, they're around my neck just as naturally as I used to wear my eyeglasses. When I need to read a label, or am browsing greeting card racks, I don't have to search for my glasses--they're very handy! And what "ice breakers" they've turned out to be! I've had more fun with people who exclaim, "You've broken your glasses!" I get to demonstrate and laugh with them when they're awe-struck at how easy they are to use. "On the spot," I could've sold many pairs!
Product Review: The BEST yet ~~!! Summary: 5 Stars
If you're like me and have had cheaters for years, you'll adore these glasses!
They are really stylish, and must confess I've
bought them in several colours for myself and as gifts for friends and
family. In a word, AMAZING ~~!! At first it feels a little
challenging to mesh the magnets, but really soon it's second nature
and you can pop them on and off in seconds.
Surprisingly, quite a conversation starter, which I didn't expect.
People are fascinated . .. have been asked if my glasses were broken, and
'how does that work' . .. and of course WHERE can I get them???
No more dangling on those chains, falling into food and drinks or
getting caught as I get in and out of the car . .. these can be worn
open in a horseshoe shape, or closed when not in use.
Product Review: These don't fit everyone Summary: 1 Stars
Don't be fooled by the word "adjustable". While I don't have a monster sized head, I would consider my head size normal for a larger man. The problem with these is that they're so narrow that they crush my temples - instant headache potential. Even with them fully adjusted for length, they're still way too small. Also, the magnetic connectors in front have to be fiddled with to get them to click together straight. Nice idea, but improvements needed in this product before they should be put out there on the market as a "one size fits all" type product. Especially at this price.
Product Review: Too Small Summary: 1 Stars
I have a large hat size - 7 5/8 - and these don't even come close to being usable. The glasses can't even come together because of this. Nice idea, but not eveyone has a small head size. I note someone else said the same thing with a 7 1/4 hat size. They are being returned.
