I love these glasses, no more falling off your face when you are doing work that requires bending over. They have a draw back though, they are not designed for reading in bed or any place where you will be resting the back of you head. Due to the rigid construction allowing for no forward slippage it inhibits head resting; pushing the glasses forward away and off the face. This was my second pair of clics...had to replace my last pair which broke after a couple of years' daily use. I would highly recommend buying these if you need readers! They are a great conversation starter...I am still amazed at how many people still don't know about them. I teach school and new students are always fascinated when I "break" them apart and put them back together like magic! I have a "big head" (for a woman; have to buy larger hats, etc) and they fit me just fine.
I also have long hair, no problems. (Below shoulder.)
"Where do you put them?" UM... around your neck. The whole concept is that the glasses are there when you need them and not "on the computer", or "on the dash of the car"... which leads many of us to buy 4 pairs of reading glasses, none of which we can find when we need them.
Color changed? I have had a red pair and a blue pair for three years, the color hasn't changed since the day I got them... did you leave them in the sun or something?
I use them daily, they are a part of me now!! LOL They aren't scratched, and I am hard on accessories.
No, they're not exactly haute couture... but who cares? (And yes my profession dictates that I "look good" -- corporate sales.)
I am back to buy a stronger pair, since, even though the glasses are the same as the day I bought them, my eyes aren't.. argh!
I would give these glasses 100 stars if I could!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
