Product Review: Glasses are cool but difficult to store.

The glasses are very cool. It surprises people that they pull apart right on your face. However I don't know what to do with them. I can't throw them in my purse because I don't have a case for them. Leaving them around the house is not a good idea without a case. I have resorted to hanging them near my computer. I like these, but the semi-rigid loop behind one's head means that leaning back against a pillow or headrest will push the glasses forward off of one's face. They're good for upright desk work, though. As another reviewer noted, they're not the easiest to carry around unless you want them dangling around your neck all the time - can't fold up and stow. But for the right setting, they're very nice - comfortable, handy, & good optics.Product Review: Good vision as a fashion statement....

I first spotted these around the neck of a winemaker at a recent Winefest dinner. He was from Australia so I assumed that's where he got these glasses. When asked he said, "Clic.com". Lo and behold I got through to Amazon, ordered the glasses and really like them. They're utilitarian (meaning I can now see small print) and they look a lot better than those on-the-chain-around-the-neck type magnifiers. I get lots of comments -- like, "Oh you broke your glasses" followed by my demonstration and their next comment, "That's so cool".Product Review: Great Cool Glasses

I first saw these on CSI New York - the coroner wears them!
I bought my CliC glasses from Amazon about 8 months ago - they were a tough fit at first - it takes awhile for the plastic to soften up! During the first few weeks the magnet would open in the front at odd moments, and the glasses would spring apart - then I figured out that by repeatedly bending the plastic neckpiece back and forth I could train the band so it was much more flexible. It also took me awhile to realize that the lenses are hinged so that you can move them to adjust the size. The problem was that there is no manual or flyer enclosed explaining this. If you buy a pair, take my advice. Work the neckpiece until it flexes comfortably - extend the earpieces forward if they seem too small for your head.
Now, after 8 months I can't see how I could survive without them! They are convenient, so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them, furnish ample magnification, are easy to clean and once comfortably around the neck, they are always at hand and never in the way. What an amazing product!
