This is a replacement for an identical pair of Clics that I have had for several years. I have absolutely loved them, and these are every bit as lovable! I needed to replace them because they are SO cool that my 2-year-old grandson was fascinated with them and loved to play with them. Unfortunately, as are most children his age, he was not so gentle with them and broke them at the adjustment slider. Even then, I was able to super-glue them (since I don't change the adjustment anyway) and got another year out of them.
These are fantastic; they work perfectly, are available when I need them, and they are also a great conversation starter. People always ask if I've seen the guy on CSI who uses these!

I agree with others here that they are not for everyone or every situation. In my professional life, I have to constantly take them off and put them on. I have a huge head and initially I had some problems with them coming apart. You need to adjust and experiment a bit. After giving them a second chance, I do enjoy them a lot. I used to have to search everywhere for a pair of my reading glasses. Now my biggest problem is crumbs. When properly adjusted, they work well. They have only a limited range of lens strengths, however. They are easy to peer over...and a bit more sporty or dare I say macho than a pair with a chain!Product Review: Fashion over useful, not

Where are my glasses? never again though you will not be the coolest person in the room.
thus you are stuck with a dilemma. Do I see when sight is needed or squint till you find those readers. If fashion is important get fashionable glasses. If seeing is important get the clics. Simple as that.
I work as a paramedic/firefighter. If I doing intubation or starting IV or reading an EKG my patients don't complain about how I look, only did I save their life. If seeing is important and you need readers this is an excellent, reliable product. If seeing and being seen is important buy a dozen cool readers and leave then everywhere.
