Product Reviews of Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor (Packaging May Vary)Product Review: BUY THIS 5 Stars
Short, simple, to the point. If you are reading this and you are debating whether or not to buy this monitor. Stop reading this review and order the monitor. I was you 1 month ago reading these reviews of women who conceived on the first try and was so skeptical, plus the price of the monitor and the sticks was a little high. I bit the bullet and I am now proud to say that I got pregnant my VERY FIRST MONTH with the monitor. My husband and I had been trying for 6 months prior. During the first cycle, as the monitor is getting to know you, you get A LOT of high fertility days. I ignored those days and waited patiently until my peak (little egg shows up) fertility days. The monitor told me I was ovulating MUCH later than I thought... 3 days to be exact. This was the difference between the past 6 months of disappointment and the joy we received just days ago from the Dr - baby is due July 4, 2010! BUY THIS MONITOR NOW- get your wallet, take out your credit card and make your dream come true. Price of clear blue easy fertility monitor? $149.99. Price of a pack of test sticks? $30.00 Finding out you're finally pregnant? Priceless.
Product Review: Best tool short of actual fertility drug treatments Summary: 5 Stars
If you have a problem with fertility or think you do, you need to see a specialist, PERIOD. Specialists will order tests for you to determine your ovarian reserve and your partner's semen quality. These tests are important, and if you have a hormonal problem, no ovulation kit is going to cure you. In other words, this fertility monitor is not a panacea.
Go see your doctor about a fertility workup if you are having problems conceiving.
If you are healthy and normal, with regular cycles and ovulation, then this little gadget is well worth the money. Think of it as an investment--are your children worth it? What is a piddly $150-$200 if it helps you bring children into your lives?
Some couples undergoing IVF have spent tens of thousands of dollars to achieve their dream of a child. Just keep perspective.
I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone who is trying to conceive simply because it works. Obviously you need to follow the instructions, but this monitor allowed me to know when I was ovulating and when having sex would most likely lead to conception. The first time I followed the monitor schedule I was able to conceive. I'm not saying that is representative of everyone's experience, but if you are using the monitor correctly and time your intercourse to the peak and near-peak days, you should be able to conceive. If you have problems conceiving, you should see a fertility specialist/reproductive endocrinologist.

I have ordered this product and when I received my order there were no test sticks. Returned that monitor and requested a replacement, and still no test sticks. Obviously the monitor does not come with them! Wish I had better news that I was able to give if I could use the Review: Bun In the OVEN....SUCCESS STORY. YAY. Summary: 5 Stars
Ok. Let me just start by saying this product is AMAZING. Pregnant after two months. Let me give you a little background.
We started trying when my son was soon-to-be three. Although we both wanted another one soon, we did not feel pressured or rushed. We were just going to let things happen. After all, getting pregnant by MISTAKE the first time was sooo easy, right? WRONG. A few months went by. Nothing. I was getting desperate and depressed. My son turned three, and the clock for his age was ticking louder and louder in my head. I was paranoid something was wrong. I researched online convincing myself I had secondary infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, low hormone levels including low progesterone and not enough cervical mucous.
Anyway, my midwife recommended that I use an Ovulation Predictor kit after hearing me vent my troubles. She suggested that I may be ovulating on a different day. So, I went out and after reading several hundred reviews on every site imaginable, I went out and bought the monitor at a CVS.
The first month I used it, days 15-18 showed high fertility. Day 19 and 20 were peaks and Day 21 was another high fertility. So, we timed everything perfectly, and I was convinced I was pregnant. But no, a negative pregnancy test on Day 31 and my period started the next day.
I was really bummed. After reading all the reviews with people getting pregnant the first month, I was sure that would be me.
However, I was determined to keep trying and not give up hope from much coaxing of my husband. IT has now been 6 months at this point when I was using the monitor for the second month. I was very frustrated, but after the first five days, I was soooo stressed out, I knew my body wouldn't allow me to have a baby if I didn't calm down.
So I ordered preseed and used it on The first peak day. Thats it for the second month.
I took a pregnancy test at 8dpo and I was pregnant. I have since taken several tests..
But I just want to give hope to all the people out there that are discouraged. Please don't give up. Continue trying. The monitor does work. If you are just missing timing, it WORKS.
Product Review: Buy It! Summary: 5 Stars
I was also one of those sceptical people that read the reviews and thought that it couldn't happen to me. After using the monitor for one month, I am pregnant. OPKs did not work for me (no positives, but had a menstrual cycle that was regular) and I was really concerned that there were obstacles in us getting pregnant. It was so emotional. After eight months of trying to conceive, my husband and I decided the monitor would tell us for certain if I needed to make an appointment with a doctor. I can't believe we waited so long to get the monitor and put our minds at ease.
