Be forewarned: The "14 test (2 pack)" really means that is is a two pack of *7* test kits, not 14 test kits! I chose this buying option for the price per test over the 20 pack expecting to recieve 28 tests, not the 14 I received. Because using an ovulation kit is a time sensitive activity, I feel trapped into keeping this product rather than exchanging it and having to wait another month. My husband and I have been trying to concieve since January and my doctor didn't think I was ovulating. She advised I buy some strips from babyhopes.com. Well they never worked. They were always unreadable or what not. So I did some research and decided to give the Clearblue digital ovulation test sticks a try. Low and behold, I was ovulating. I got the happy face. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to know the best two days to have intercourse to better their chances of getting pregnant. Goodluck!Product Review: Easy to use and it works!!

We were TTC for over a year, unsuccessfully. So we decided to buy this product after reading many positive reviews on Amazon. It did not disappoint and my wife got the smiley face indicating ovulation during two cycles. The sticks are very easy to use and (I guess) accurate. Unfortunately that did not help us conceive and so we stopped checking for the next couple of months and decided to consult a doctor. But then a few weeks back we conceived when we were least expecting!!
So a great product but does not guarantee success.

I used the clear blue ovulation kit for conceiving all three of my children. It was very helpful because it gave a 24-36 hour window for when I would ovulate. Although I was also monitoring my cycles closely and was aware of when I was reaching my most fertile time, pinpointing this more precise window gave us a more accurate time and allowed us to know when we needed to open that bottle of wine and have 3 nights in a row of romance. There may be other brands that accomplish this also, but I used the clear blue with our first child, so I just stuck with what I knew had worked. As far as the price, I think the 20-kit is a good buy because I believe it was around $30 at Walmart, and that was $10 less than CVS's price. I believe I read using an ovulation kit gives you about 25% chance that you will conceive. So that would lead you to think that 25% would be one in four, so you should conceive within 4 months of trying. However, just like flipping a coin, you should get heads one in two flips, but that is not always the case. You could get heads two times in a row, or even 4 times in a row, but the longer you keep trying, the more you increase your odds of getting the desired outcome. If you can work it in the budget, I think it is worth using when trying to conceive.
