I only have one good ovary, so I wanted to be the most efficient when trying to conceive #2. I got this monitor with the hopes of pinpointing which months I ovulated and which months I didn't. The first month using the monitor it revealed that I didn't ovulate, and the second month using it I ovulated but very late in my cycle. The third month the monitor said that I ovulated right in the middle of my cycle (which can range anywhere from 27 days to 44 days, and I ovulated on day 14) and I just found out from my doctor that I am pregnant! I am shocked since it took over a year with my first child to conceive!! This monitor took all the guesswork out for me and my husband and allowed us to focus our efforts on very specific days. I have to say I have tried several over the counter ovulation tests and ones I ordered off of amazon. They were always so vague and confusing to read and always held a certain amount of doubt and uncertainty with me. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this monitor and I'm very glad I did. I have conceived using these though not successfully yet (had a couple of miscarriages) but at least now I know when my optimum days of fertility are (based on the fact that I got pregnant using these after 2 months and never did once the entire year I went before buying this.)
I didn't want to be stuck paying tons of money buying the monitor sticks, so I kept a calendar keeping track for 6 months when I ovulated. It was all very consistent (for me, maybe not for others) so after I ran out of sticks I was able to take the information I had learned and pin point the days I would be ovulating without having to use this monitor.
My advise, skip the cheap whole sale ovulation sticks and just get this one. You will save precious time and money.

Clear Blue Easy fertility moniter is easy to use and shows promise. It confirms what I already know about my cycle. I am not pregnant yet but hope to be soon.
The only thing I have to mention is I originally bought this through Amazon and I was HIGHLY disappointed when it arrived all the fertility sticks were outdated but 6 months. I had to send everything back. [...]
