Same as other reviewer, tried 18 months unsuccessfully. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and the basal tracking, mucus feel, etc. too much hassle and you have to take your temperature before you even get up, etc. very difficult. Used monitor for two months and am pregnant! Also went to see fertility specialist at the same time who told me to stop using the monitor because they would help me track. I kept using the monitor. Found out I was pregnant on Wednesday and cancelled next fertility appt (first was only consultation but cost $300) on Friday. So monitor saved me $5000! I got it as a hand me down from two other girls and the sticks I used whatever was next (jumbled them all together) and everything still worked fine. Am not going to waste time with next child and use it right away and skip the body temperature etc. since machine does all that for you.
