I have keratoconjunctivitis sicca (scientific name for severe dry eyes). I have tried many products before this and I did find a product which works great; it's called "Viscotears". Unfortunately, it isn't sold here in US pharmacies, so I had to find something else.
Of all the products I have used, this is the worst. It causes my eyes to sting so badly that most of the times I have to rinse this product out of my eyes. And that's only from instilling a single drop! It certainly isn't for severe dry eyes. I'm not sure which ingredient is causing this, but it says that this product has an astringent and a red eye reliever. I'm guessing that one of those is causing the problem. Cause the main ingredient there which is Hypromellose is commonly used in most eye lubricants. Furthermore, after using this product, my eyes become dryer within 10-20 minutes, which is contrary to the reason I got this product for!
Final word: If u have severe dry eyes, don't get this product. It does the opposite of what it's supposed to do...It's a rip-off!
