Okay, I'm old fashioned. I use a hot water bottle to warm up my feet (or on occasion, my sore back) when I go to bed. I think it's a great (and cheap) way to warm up the bed. I ordered this hot water bottle because the one I bought in a drugstore leaked, so I wanted a good one. It's well made, covered with nifty blue flannel, has a dandy little hook to hang it up with, and so far, works great. I expect to be using this bottle for a long, long time.
