I love using hot water bottle to keep warm in the winter, and this one was the right price and had free shipping. It was delivered brand new in a plastic package, and it did smell like rubber, but that doesn't bother me - it's made of rubber! However, it developed a tiny hole after the 3rd use - barely big enough to see, but big enough to leak water all over my bed over the course of a night. I returned this for amazon credit the next day. However, I have had this problem with other brands of hot water bottles, so it may just be the product, not this specific kind.Product Review: I received a dirty "new" product

I ordered this "new" and it came covered in dirt. It actually looks and smells like it was on the floor of some sort of garage or metal shop. Its covered in some kind of greasy metallic dust. It seems like it was maybe part of some discount surplus lot of outdated goods that they just put a new tag on and called it "new." As for the product itself, it has a very strong rubber smell in addition to the greasy shop odor. The bottle itself doesn't appear to have any cracks or seam leakage. Though, from the condition of the product it doesn't seem like it will last long. My advice: absolutely do not purchase this water bottle! There are actual new bottles out there for less money and some superior products that, after this experience, I would say are definitely worth the extra.
