Chillow starts out cool, as advertised, but quickly warms up to body temperature, so that if you need the coolness in the middle of the night, it is already gone. If you want the cool only to fall asleep this will work; it just doesn't last long enough.Product Review: Cool product

I love the chillow. It works really well. I was worried it might leak but I have had mine for two years and it's never leaked. You have to open it occasionally and let the sponge inside unbunch but other than that it is great.
It keeps your head cool for at least an hour and you can flip it over or move it around to keep it cool longer.

I was really looking forward to getting this product after seeing it on Rachael Ray. I get night sweats often and it's very uncomfortable to sleep drenched in sweat. I got this product and it did stop my night sweats which was great, but the plastic/vinyl smell is so horrible that I almost prefer the night sweats. I will probably keep this product to use for my children when they have a fever or during our HOT South Carolina summers, but I just can't stand the smell! Too bad they couldn't find a way to fix that!!!
