This was my first time trying Chia seeds (and I too was lured by the tales told in "Born to Run"). I must say, I'm quite happy with them. A small spoonful goes a long way, and imparts a very light, almost tea-like flavor to your water. Add some sugar and lime juice and you have the original recipe used by the Tarahumara runners. If you are averse to globby, gelatin-like little blobs in your water, obviously these aren't for you but many people enjoy the texture, which I would liken to bubble-tea or aloe vera juice (which is popular in the southwest and Mexico).

The only caveat I had was that the bag, which is conveniently resealable, popped open in transit (probably from the low pressure of a plane flight). Fortunately only a very small amount fell out into the box, and I just resealed the package and all was well. I would definitely order from this seller again.

Love it. I feel like it covers my carb treat days! I can feel the difference already , i feel fuller after eating. I simply put it on my water. The texture I love too bec, it reminds me of a refreshment drink in the Philippines. My co-workers looks at me like Im drinking icky water- they just donno what they're missing!!

I was quite pleased to receive two pounds of chia seeds for the usual price of one pound. The seeds were well packaged in two individual heavy duty double plastic bags with reclosable openings. Quality of seeds is good.
I will buy from Raw in Form again.
