Product Review: good but needs a mechanism for staying around your neck

This pack is a good size...and the shape lends it self so that the rounded edge fits either between your shoulder blades or up on the back of your head if you have headaches associated w/ your neck pain. So the design is nice, and versatile. However, in order for this to stay around your neck, you have to hold the front around your neck. This is very difficult for most people w/ chronic neck pain as most of us have chronic shoulder problems as well. My solution was to get a fleece scarf and use it as rope to wrape it around my the ice pack while it was on my neck. It works, and it's adjustable the tightness and size that you want. I just think if they're going to sell an ice pack this shape, they should have something which allows you to hold it around your neck without you holding the front for the entire time you're icing. It is very cold, and while the package says not to put it directly on your skin, I found that's the best way to get a truly cold icing. It stays supercold for about 15minutes then becomes more "cool." So It serves it's purpose...I throw it back in the freezer and it really does get supercold within about 30minutes if you want multiple sessions of icing. Overall good product..
