Product Review: A normal 14 year old girl

I am you typical 14 year old girl, and my underarms started over persperating about 4 months ago. I thought Certain Dri would help my problem, but instead it made my arms sting, and it did not help AT ALL! One thing that helped me though was Secret Deodarant. Do not waste your money on this product.Product Review: AB FAB!

Wow-Wow-Wow.
What else can I say. I have been embarrassed for years. Keeping my arms closed tight. I wouldn't sweat like some people, so badly that it left a huge ring past their arms. However, I did sweat enough that if I lifted my arms there would be a ring the size of my underarm. No cheering heavily at my kids sports games. It was very embarrassing for me. Well!! I read some reviews here, found Certain-Dri at the local store, used it that night (6 days ago) not a bit of sweat since. I am very happy I don't have to keep my arms in place or stuff toilet paper in my shirt anymore. If you have a problem with sweating, try this before anything else. You be glad you did.
On a side note, I roll it across my underarms 2x then rub around with my fingers. I keep my arms up till dry. The "itching and burning" is very mild for me but present. It only lasts about 5 minutes but it's totally worth it when I know the results will be dry pits all day!! Also, I rinse off my underarms in the shower with water only. I am afraid I will wash it away. I don't know what will happen if I use soap. The good thing is, since I am not sweating there is no odor causing bacteria to make me smelly. Just a tiny bit of deodorant is all I use in the AM.
SERIOUSLY!!! You have got to try this stuff!!!
UPDATE: I have been using this now for 2 1/2 weeks. I use it Fri-Sun nights only. I DO wash with soap in the morn. I Do use a very small bit of deodarant in the morning. I am happy to report...Still no sweat whatsoever. I am just thrilled that a product works so well. 3 nights a weeks is all I need to use it and I just don't sweat, ever. When I 1st started using I would check all day and be amazed. But, now I never have to check because I am certain that I am dry. I guess that is why they named it rightfully so!

best purchase ever. i cant imagine not using it- i cant tell you how long i suffered and dreaded coming home everyday with a wet shirt. if there is no such thing as magic, well then this is the closet thing to it! ive definetly tried every deodirant ever made- ban, secret, degree, even men's, hoping they would be stronger. by LUCK i tried certain dri and it was the best thing i ever did. i recommended it to my friend who also happened to have a 'sweating problem', and she could not agree with me more that this product does wonders. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!! I have tried the clinical strength deodorants and just about anything to try and stop this excessive sweating. I just kept thinking, I'm a freaking girl, why am I sweating like a man?!?! And it was just embarrassing. I hated it. All year around I would wear a hoodie or a jacket, even in the hottest days of summer... It was terrible. I could never take it off because then you would see how sweaty I was. Then I found CertainDri. Seriously people, this changed my life! There is sweat no more! I can finally wear my favorite shirts without a hoodie or jacket over it! I LOVE IT!!! I've used Certain Dri antiperspirant for over two years now, and I LOVE it. I came to this product for two reasons. First, I was having problems with excessive sweating. If I got even a little warm, I would sweat right through whatever I was wearing. If I went to a job interview, I had to wear extra shirts under my outfit because my pits would be drenched after 10 minutes. I had started shopping for tops by colors that would be least likely to show perspiration. I also had b.o. when I sweat like this--yuck. And I'd tried a million different brands of deodorant. I needed something that *worked.*
Second, I'm in my early thirties, and I'm working very hard to be conscientious about the chemicals I'm exposing myself to every day, especially when it comes to household and personal-care products. I was tired of using something containing aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex (i.e., chlorine derivative) that didn't work...but then, neither did any of the all-natural options. I prefer natural, organic, and very simple ingredients whenever possible. The resource I use most often to discover what ingredients/products are safe or unsafe is SkinDeep, [...], compiled by EWG. They rate ingredients and brand products on a scale of 0-10 based on research, 0 being likely to be very safe and 10 meaning there was evidence that something could be really bad for you. This deodorant scored a one!
I use this twice a week at night before bed, and use an unscented, all-natural crystal deodorant daily in the morning as a refresher. No more pit stains, waaay fewer scary chemicals, and I still sweat normally when I exercise. I will probably use this product forever.
(Note: I used it once right before putting on a new dark purple top, and it discolored the underarm fabric. I've *never* had this problem when I use it at night. Follow the package directions: don't put it on, then get dressed for the day.)
