Carson Optical Lighted Magnifold Magnifier
I bought four of these - two for me, one for my husband and one for my mom, and we've all been using them every day since we got them! The rectangular lens is great for reading, and the light is fine. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the handle more ergonomic. You can see in the manufacturer's video that the person holding the magnifier has his thumb on the top of the handle, and that's the way I want to hold it too. When using it for more than just a minute or two it gets tiring to hold it, because it's like the curve of the handle is turned the wrong direction. Still, I would recommend this magnifier and would buy it again.

I bought this for my husband to help with reading small print in an old book. He had recently ordered one of those full page magnifiers. Both items arrived the same day however the Carson Optical Magnifier proved to be far superior! He loves it and chooses this device over all other magnifiers he has accumulated. I bought this magnifier for my dad who has lost vision due to macular degeneration. Unlike other magnifiers purchased, this one really works. It has made reading the newspaper and the mail much easier.
