There are very, very few scented deodorizers, room fresheners or other home products that I like. Most end up giving my house the smell of a (poorly) scented institutional bathroom or are so strong that I can't stand being in the room(s). But this apple-cinnamon foam carpet refresher is the one product that everyone seems to love, including me. Visitors and friends always comment on the truly appealing fragrance. Check out the other reviews and you'll see how loyal people are to this product. Count me among them.
I think this is more than a mere carpet refresher. It is also practical and each canister lasts a LONG time. The major plus of this product is that you can spray it on your carpet within minutes of a guest's arrival and it will be invisible and dry by the time anyone rings your doorbell. Unlike other products which can leave sticky build-up on your carpets, this one doesn't interfere with home or professional carpet cleaners. You won't feel any unpleasant gunk and can walk on your carpets with bare feet. Your pets won't be harmed by it, either. Safe, safe, safe.
While you can use it year round, I think it adds a nice, cozy touch to the cooler months. If you are trying to sell your home, ignore the advice about having cookies or apple pie baking in the oven (how practical is that, anyway, EVERY time the house is shown?) and just have your real estate agent spray this on the carpets before each showing - or do it yourself if you're selling your own home. Same effect as baking real cookies without the muss or fuss!
If you aren't selling your home, spray this on your carpet (I also spray a bit on light bulbs before I turn on the lights) and just enjoy the results, neither overly strong or barely noticeable. Super to use on area and bathroom rugs, too!

I love this product as it brings a fresh and homey scent to your dwelling. I always get compliments when I have guests and I believe this scent in particular makes people feel at ease when they visit because the smells remind you of fresh baked goods. This has always been a favorite that was hard to keep on the shelves at my local market so I was surprised that it is no longer available in most stores. What's really going on Carpet Fresh?
I'm so glad that it's available from Amazon. I can keep the compliments and the comfort going now!

This product is the bomb! I love, love, love it! It gives your whole house a clean, fresh scent that lasts a good while. I also spray it on my sofas and ottoman (cloth) to freshen them up along with the rugs! This spray is excellent for getting rid of SMOKE -- I mentioned this because when I bought my sofas second hand, they previously belonged to a chain smoker who owned them for over 10-15 years! The smell was driving me crazy so I researched on the web the most effective way to rid furniture of cig smoke and found that cinnamon neutralizes the odor. A few years ago, we had the old carpet in my father's house professionally cleaned and it smelled TERRIBLE afterwards. I didn't know what to do, but bought Carpet Fresh Foam in Apple Cinnamon without much hope. The result was nothing short of miraculous. The house went from stinky to smelling delicious. The carpet has since been replaced but we've continued to use the Carpet Fresh even though we have to order it over the internet because no local stores carry it now -- what a shame. We often get compliments on how good the house smells (even with three dogs). Also, there's no build up from the foam, it doesn't make the carpet sticky nor does it attract dirt. Recommend this highly.
