My best friend loves to cook and I bought this for her bridal shower. I added recipes from all the people at the shower and she loved it.
This book is tall enough to provide ample room to write out recipes. There are also sticky pages to add photos or individual recipe cards. The book is the size of a photo album. The pockets seem big enough to hold quite a lot of recipes cut from magazines and newspapers. The theme is "recipes and memories" so there is a line on each page for memories or anecdotes regarding that recipe.
The cover is really cute with the wooden rolling pin glued on the front- makes it look like it was homemade. Cute idea to welcome someone into the family with treasured recipes. Great gift for weddings, showers, etc.
Product Review: Great idea for my son's future bride

I purchased this for my son's future bride for her birthday this year..I had so much fun putting it together. I scanned the original old recipe cards that were hand written by Grandmothers, Mom's and other family members and friends.Made sure his favorites were included of course.I then pasted them on either the existing sheets or created new ones with heavy copy paper and cut to size and hole punched to fit the book.Some were hand written by myself and my husband on the recipe sheets included being sure we added a memory on each page.Had some of their friends send me recipes too(with a special memory included) I also created a picture collage on each photo page. I scanned some pictures of our son's early years and mixed them with newer ones to display their their memories to date...I tried to create a theme for each indexed category.To jazz it up a bit..I then added scrapbook type embellishments as well..Her reaction was priceless... She said it was the most thoughtful gift she had ever received. She keeps it out to share with all their friends. Got the best hug from our son too!Product Review: beautiful gift

We bought this and created our own memory scrap book of recipes and pictures for grandma. We bought the page size clear plastic paper holders to protect the pages when cooking. Other than not having that come along with it, this is a great gift when you want to make something from the heart to give out.
